Wednesday Night Groups

This Wednesday, 2/5, our weekly Wednesday Night gathering and groups will be returning. Join us at 6pm for dinner in the downstairs Fellowship Hall. Then at 7pm, our group offerings will start meeting in different rooms around the church. There is no need to sign up for groups ahead of time. We will have four different group offerings described above. Childcare is available. If you plan to join us for dinner, we ask that you RSVP below to help us get an accurate headcount. All are welcome!

Calling Artists

Emily Blaylock, who led worship this past Sunday, works with the Palm Beach County Victim Services and is organizing an event called Healing Through the Arts, a community art showcase designed to raise awareness and promote healing during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The showcase will be on Saturday, 4/26, from 3-5 p.m. The event is inviting artists to submit works of diverse mediums. No professional artistic background is required to contribute to this awareness event. The submission deadline is 4/1. Submit your pieces through the link below and reach out to Emily with any questions.

Les Miserables at the Kravis Center

Les Miserables at the Kravis Center

In April, the Broadway show Les Miserables will be coming to the Kravis Center. We would love to experience this show together as a community. We have secured 15 balcony tickets seated together for the 8 p.m. show on Saturday, 4/26, for the first 15 people. Only 2 tickets are left. If you would like to purchase seat tickets on your own in a different section, we would still love to all go together. Notify Josh if you are interested in going. The balcony tickets we reserved are $109.25. They will be allotted on a first come, first serve basis.

Story Group Orientation

Groups are returning in February along with some new groups! Mark you calendar for Thursday, 1/30 at 7:00 p.m. for orientation. If you have already been to an orientation and participated in Story Group previously, you do not need to come again. However, if you have been a part of Story Group before and are interested in co-leading or shadowing a leader, please let us know! We look forward to another meaningful semester of listening, connecting, and deepening our experience of community, ourselves, and our God.

Coaching for Your Soul

Last night, Kristen McWilliams, a life coach and dear friend of our community, led us through a workshop titled "Coaching for Your Soul" focused on how we set and pursue life goals. She will return next Wednesday for another week of the workshop. You can still come even if you couldn't make it last night. Join us at 6 p.m. for dinner and 6:45 p.m. for the workshop.

Poyo is Turning 6

On Tuesday, 1/21, starting at 6:00 p.m., Poyo will be celebrating its sixth birthday. This has been a core gathering place for our community over the past six years led by Gina DeRiso and Pam Kwarchak. Join the celebration at Howard Park under the big trees for yoga flow and giveaways followed by an after party at Civil Society.
