While Providencia WPB is in a season of growth, we’re also in a season of transition. As many of you know, our worship director who helped start the church, Danny Brunjes, has moved into a new career journey. While we’re excited for both Danny’s future and ours, we’d be remised not to pause and reflect on the incredible journey our music ministry has taken under his leadership. Paradise Hymns was born out of a communal dream to worship with the songs God put in our own hearts. What started with a simple chorus became an entire collection of original hymns and songs of worship written by Danny and others from our community. On Sunday, 8/25, Danny will be leading his final service with us along with several of the musicians who formed and contributed to Paradise Hymns. It will be a night of songs, stories, and celebration. If the music of our church has impacted you in anyway over the years, we’d love for you to join us! We hope to see you there.
On Sunday, August 18th, we will be starting our new series for the Fall. Today, it seems like we are all trying to get out of something. Out of debt. Out of conflict. We will explore the themes of confronting darkness and awakening to God’s dwelling among us.
